1. Look over your foundation to check for cracks or leaks.  Keeping moisture and pests out is very important!
2. Repair steps and stairways to tighten any loose areas that might cause falls or injuries.  Bad steps or railings can be a deal breaker for buyers.
3. Take a good look at windows and make sure there are no cracks and that the weather stripping is in good shape.  An efficient house will attract more buyers.
4. Clear out dried up flowers, and shrubs.  This can enhance your curb appeal and a buyer’s first impression.
5. Check outdoor lighting to be sure the area is well lit.  With the shorter days coming soon showings might be at night and you want everything to be as cheerful as possible as well as to avoid falls due to poor lighting.
